Commercial Banking Client Relationship Management
From £38,000
Start date

Connect UK businesses with global opportunity

With clients ranging from family businesses and start-ups to high street retailers and global brands, we’re constantly working to help them prosper and grow. At the heart of that task are our Commercial Banking: Client Relationship Management teams. They provide tailored support and a wide range of innovative financial solutions, helping businesses of all shapes and sizes to trade internationally or to invest in Britain. And now we’re searching for new talent to join them. So, if you’re looking for a career with impact – we have a job for you. And the great news is you don’t need a business or finance degree to come and work with us.

Are you analytically minded and able to help us to advise our clients on everything from reviewing their financial accounts to adapting to changes in their external environment? Want to work on initiatives that deliver impactful outcomes for our clients, helping them to trade better and achieve more? Are you at your best when you’re working as part of an ambitious team, working to find the best solution to a challenging problem?  If the answer is yes, you’ll be a great fit for our Commercial Banking: Client Relationship Management teams. You’ll be working with clients ranging from entrepreneurial start-ups to international organisations, helping them to succeed and grow.

During four six-month placements over two years, you’ll work in a variety of areas to develop your strengths. In this time, you’ll make an impact supporting our clients across the UK and beyond.

Day to day you could be:

- Building strong clients relationships
- Supporting business development projects
- Identifying business solutions for our clients’ needs
- Forming collaborative working partnerships with colleagues across the Group
- Delivering financial, marketing and sector research to help us deliver creative solutions for our clients

People do their best work when they feel happy and valued; that’s why you’ll receive the tools you need to develop the career you want – from mentoring to delivering TED-style talks. You’ll be assigned a graduate coach who will be there to provide support throughout the programme and will work with you – alongside your line managers – to create a personal development plan. They will also be there to support you with your rotations ensuring you get the best development throughout. We’ll support you to complete a professional qualification – such as ACT, CFA, CISI or CIMA – and you’ll also have the chance to lead on UK community volunteering initiatives.

As the largest digital bank in the UK we’re dedicated to helping Britain prosper. In 2017 alone we helped 124,000 companies start trading, lent £6bn to start-ups and helped 15,000 clients to export their products internationally for the first time – and this is just the start. As part of the Group, you’ll not only represent Lloyds Bank but our other brands too, including Bank of Scotland and Scottish Widows. Our focus is on becoming the bank of the future, and with over 12 million online and eight million mobile users, we’re constantly exploring how to bring new digital solutions to our customers.

A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline from any university. The variety and experiences of our colleagues makes our workplace unique, so we encourage people from every kind of background to apply. It’s important for us, and it shows. Recently, we were named a Times Top 50 Employer For Women, as well as the Best Bank in the World for Diversity and Inclusion at the Euromoney Awards 2017 and a Times Top 100 Graduate Employer.

Locations: Our Graduate Programmes are rotational and our Commercial Banking: Relationship Management roles are based in London – with national and international placements available.
