Design the future of UK business

Right now, across the country, we’re doing more than ever before to help UK businesses succeed and grow regionally and internationally through our Commercial Banking: Client Solutions teams. They design solutions which help businesses of all shapes and sizes to trade globally or to invest in Britain. It’s not an easy task, which is why we’re searching for new talent to help us. So, if you’re looking for a career with impact – we have a job for you. And the great news is you don’t just need a business or finance degree to come and work with us.

Are you analytically minded and able to understand everything from statistics to large volumes of data? Are you looking to support UK businesses by delivering innovative solutions? Can you motivate people to collaborate and deliver? Are you interested in how technology is changing the way services and products are created?  If the answer is yes, then you should join our Commercial Banking Client Solutions teams. Not only will you be designing products that help our clients to attract and retain global investment, you’ll also be boosting the digital skills of over 50,000 small business and charities across Britain.

During four six-month placements over two years in London, and potentially internationally, you’ll work in a variety of areas to develop your strengths. Over this time, you will make an impact through your work and delivering nationwide projects.

Day to day you could be:

- Working in virtual teams to deliver new banking solutions
- Researching the market to discover regulatory and sector changes
- Championing innovation, pioneering new ideas and taking them to market at speed
- Building relationships with clients and colleagues
- Managing our clients’ financial needs through loan and bond financing
- Managing markets’ risks to our clients, and also to our business through trading activities
- Engaging with clients to deliver risk management solutions through sales projects

People do their best work when they feel happy and valued; that’s why you’ll receive the tools you need to develop the career you want – from mentoring to delivering TED-style talks. You’ll be assigned a graduate coach who will be there to provide support throughout the programme and will work with you – alongside your line managers – to create a personal development plan. They will also be there to support you with your rotations, ensuring you get the best development throughout. We’ll support you to complete a professional qualification – such as ACT, CFA, CISI or CIMA – and you’ll also have the chance to lead on UK community volunteering initiatives.

As the largest digital bank in the UK we’re dedicated to helping Britain prosper. In 2017 alone we helped 124,000 companies start trading, lent £6bn to start-ups and helped 15,000 clients to export their products internationally for the first time – and this is just the start.  As part of the Group, you’ll not only represent Lloyds Bank but our other brands too, including Bank of Scotland, and Scottish Widows. Our focus is to become the bank of the future, and with over 12 million online and eight million mobile users, we’re constantly exploring how to bring new digital solutions to our customers.

A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline from any university. The variety and experiences of our colleagues makes our workplace unique, so we encourage people from every kind of background to apply. It’s important for us, and it shows. Recently, we were named a Times Top 50 Employer For Women, as well as the Best Bank in the World for Diversity and Inclusion at the Euromoney Awards 2017 and a Times Top 100 Graduate Employer.
