You can help us to understand how well we currently meet our customers’ needs, how we design products to help them and how we can adapt in a constantly evolving world, to transform the way we protect their futures.

 

About the programme

Over two years, you’ll complete three eight-month placements in a variety of locations around the UK. You’ll develop a better understanding of our business and build on your strengths while making an impact on a variety of projects.

Day to day you could be:

  • Leading projects to increase opportunities for Lloyds Banking Group
  • Identifying trends and making business recommendations to ensure the best outcomes for our customers
  • Building products and services delivered through a variety of channels and channel propositions, to support our customers’ needs
  • Collaborating with colleagues across the business to create new opportunities for our customers
  • Developing your digital and leadership skills, which will be invaluable for your future career

Your development

People work best when they feel happy and valued. That’s why you’ll receive the tools you need to develop the career you want – including mentoring, volunteering initiatives and tailored learning initiatives. We’ll also support you to study for a Diploma in Insurance from the Chartered Institute of Insurers. Through the Insurance Products and Financial Planning Solutions graduate programme, you’ll build the foundations for a career that will impact 10 million customers across the UK.

Our Actuarial scheme

Lloyds Banking Group also offers an Actuarial scheme within our Insurance Finance team, under our insurance brand, Scottish Widows. This rotational programme offers graduates the opportunity to train as an actuary, working within the insurance business to deliver fair outcomes for customers, and ensure the company remains in strong financial health. You’ll need…

A 2:2 degree or above in any discipline from any university and an open mind.

2nd December - role closes

Should you be a top performer at the Online Testing stage and your Application meets the minimum requirement, you’ll be invited, by email, to participate in a Video Interview.  You will have 5 days from the date of the invitation to find a suitable time to complete and submit your Video interview.  Please ensure our emails are not going to your junk folder, and please avoid leaving it until the last minute to complete the Video Interview as we will not be able to consider any submissions which are late.

Your Online Test results and Application details will be reviewed alongside other applications, in line with our assessment criteria.

 

 

By 19th December  2019

From 20th January 2020

We’ll get in touch with you to confirm your Video Interview outcome.  Only the highest performing applicants will be invited to our Assessment Centre.  We have limited spaces available at each assessment centre, so please ensure you’re available so that we can quickly and easily book you into an assessment centre. 

 

 

From Week commencing 10th February 2020

Assessment Centres take place in Edinburgh.  

You’ll need to bring the relevant documentation along with you. We’ll let you know exactly what we need alongside your invitation - please prepare this in advance.

 

After the Assessment Centre, we will be in touch within 2 weeks to let you know if we are able to offer you a place on the Graduate Scheme.
